We, at NBHC, believe in making work an enjoyable experience by providing a right balance between work and fun. Quarterly employee interaction events and contests provide a much deserved break the otherwise hectic schedules. These employee contact programs go a long way in building higher levels of employee engagement and organization synergy.
At NBHC Group, we organize a variety of events such as:
- Societal Events/CSR events - Tree Plantation , Blood Donation, Clothes Donation, AIDS Awareness Programmes
- Social/Cultural - Navratri, Diwali, Holi, New Year, Annual Party etc
- Talent Hunt Programs - Dance Competition, Music Competition , Quiz Competition, Drama and Humorous Skits, Laughter Challenge etc
- Family Involvement events - Junior’s Day, Family Day
- Annual Sports Meet - Cricket Match, Relay Race, Running Race, Tug of War, Carrom, Chess, Table Tennis, Badminton
- Others - Annual Picnic, Outdoor Departmental Meets, Dinner Meet, Color Day , Mismatch day, Professional day etc
The objective of these events is to promote employee bonding and a sense of belonging and pride in working for the Organization.
Each of our events has its unique theme and objectives. We brand and publicize all internal key events through posters, motivational mails, group interaction sessions, formation of core support event teams from cross functional departments other than HR.

62nd Independence Day Celebration |

NBHC celebrated the 62nd Independence Day on 14th August 2008 with great
National spirit and cheer.
The objective of the celebration was to:
- To pay a tribute to our Nation on completing 61 Years of Independence
- To pay a homage to our National Freedom Fighters for their valuable gift of freedom to us
- To pledge ourselves to build an India, which is progressive, futuristic and a super power by 2020.

The celebration was held across
locations viz Mumbai, Kolkata
and Hyderabad.
The official dress code for the
day was Indian Traditional in
White and Blue colors with
Gandhi Topi.
The event was celebrated
at the Financial Technologies
Exchange Square
and was attended by many respected
dignitaries. |

As our Guests of Honor, we had the privilege of having with us:
- Mr. Tushar Gandhi, great grandson of our Bapu Mahatma Gandhi.
- Wing Commander Anil Bhingarkar (Retd.), an Air Force Pilot who had flown during 1965 and 1971 wars.
Mr. Shashi Bhargava, Chief Delivery Officer, Financial Technologies (India)L welcomed Mr. Tushar Gandhi on the behalf of the Group and also introduced his profile to the audience. Mr. Gandhi shared with us his experiences of Gandhian Era and Indian Freedom struggle.
Mr. Girish Raipuria, Sr. Vice President Market Operations, MCX welcomed Wing Commander Anil Bhingarka and also introduced his profile to the audience. The Wing Commander shared with us his war experience and stories of exemplary bravery and courage of our Indian Jawans.
This was followed by a small skit on 100 Years of Indian Freedom Struggle. The skit was performed by Financial Technologies very own Mangal Pandey, Rani Lakshmibai, Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev, Rajguru, Chandrasekhar Azad , Subhash Chandra Bose, Mahatma Gandhi, Pandit Nehru and many more freedom heroes.
The skit was performed with true emotions and spirit. It realistically depicted the passionate efforts, trials and sufferings of our National Freedom Fighters in India's freedom struggle. The audience was held captivated and spell bound. A standing ovation at the end of the skit said it all.
The skit was followed by lighting of diyas by the guests, dignitaries and audience in the memory and honor of our freedom fighters and jawans.
A small felicitation ceremony was held for the Guests. Mr. Dewang Neralla, Director Technology, felicitated Wing Commander Anil Bhingarka and Mr. Anil Choudhary, MD & CEO, NBHC felicitated Mr. Tushar Gandhi.
At the close of event, a Vote of Thanks was proposed by Mr. SA, Srinivas, Vice President, Customer Service & Quality Department MCX.
The event was closed with National Anthem and Jai Hind.
The event was a resounding success and has received great appreciation and feedback from all. |

Financial Technologies Blood Donation Drive |

|
Our blood donation drive, the first of its kind at Financial Technologies drew amazing participation and involvement from members across the group.
|
 |
|
- 282 Employees donated blood in a 8 hour drive beating the previous record of 265 donors held by Reliance Insurance with Rotary Blood Bank in a single day drive
- Youngest donor 18 year old and Senior most donor 56 years.
- Donors included Senior Management team and Directors, along with office peons, housekeeping members and security guards
- Some group members also donated blood along with their family members
- Over 40 volunteers from HR, Admin and CSR teams worked selflessly to make the blood donation drive a huge success.

The old clothes/boys/toys donation was conducted in support of NGO’s/support groups like Cardinal Gracias Destitute Home, Little Sister of the Poor Home for the Aged and Asha Daan.

- Over 100 big bags of old clothes, toys and books were whole heartedly donated by employees
- A Security Guard especially sourced and donated 7 brand new toys for the less privileged kids
- A visit to the homes brought a tear to many a eye along with a pledge to help the less privileged in as many ways as possible

Junior's Day Celebration |

|
Junior’s Day Celebration - was held on 14th November 07, wherein we had organized a drawing and painting competition titled Little Michelangelo contest for the children of employees.
The objective of this event was to:
- To promote family bonding amongst group employees
- To invite Junior NBHC members to spend a fun day at work with their Parents and other Group members.
- To provide an avenue to Junior NBHC Group members to unleash their creativity and express themselves through the medium of drawing and painting

This contest was organized in association with Navneet Publications (India) Ltd. Navneet also held a books exhibition at the venue. Nearly 120 kids ranging from 2 to 14 years participated in the event and quiet a few kids accompanied their parents to work right from the morning and spent the day playing and interacting with their parents’ colleagues.
A panel of eminent judges from Navneet Group and Financial Technologies adjudged the competition and selected the winners. All winners received a Medal and a gift. All participants received a Certificate of Participation.
The day ended on a very positive note with parents expressing their joy and thankfulness to the Management for organizing such a wonderful inspiring event for their juniors. |

the members were encouraged
to send their creative expressions
in form of articles, poems,
paintings on how they individually
relate to the essence of
Republic day as an Indian
Citizen.

in the event was heartening. The
entries received for Freedom of
Expression were a pleasure to
read and watch. The close of event
saw everybody pleading himself/herself
to the development of truly, liberated
and progressive India by year
2020.

Women’s Day Celebration, Annual
Sports Meet, etc. each one of
them having a unique flavor
and agenda.

Ensuring
Fun@Work is a serious commitment
of the Management team at Financial
Technologies to all its employees.
These events have been a great
success. The synergy and enthusiasm
generated is a treat to watch
and feel. Enhanced employee bonding
and feeling of belongingness is
worth every effort spent on these
events.
Additionally to facilitate team
bonding and healthy interactions,
the organization has introduced
a Picnic Policy and an outdoor
Departmental Meet Policy, which,
needless to say, has been welcome
with open arms.
